Graveyards and Gravestones / Re: Hanley Cemetery. Would love a photo

Thank you so much for going to Hanley cemetary Alf. Disappointing there was nothing there but I suppose not surprising as they were a poor family, again thank you for taking the trouble to go, very much appreciated.

Hi Alf Thank you for contacting me. I don't know if this is possible but I wondered if anyone out there who may go to Hanley cemetery if they could look and see if my Great Grandfather (and possibly great Grandmother) has a headstone. The plot number is 9904 and he died on 26th March 1931. I live a long way off and wouldn't want to make a special trip there if there's nothing to see. Grateful for any help or information you or anyone else may send me.
Kind Regards Fiona

This is a lovely picture. More than slightly off subject but my Great Grandfather James Billingsley was Gypsy Rodney Smith's Lieutenant in Hanley Staffordshire. Gypsy Smith was also best man at his wedding in 1886. Small world. Fiona.

These are all beautiful restores, what transformations. Thank you all for your hard work, don't know how you do it. Fiona

Hi Alex, thanks for the beautiful restores. I honestly don't know that I did anything different to normal with this picture. I am a novice at this and there is strong possibility that I messed up somehow, but generally I just scan, save and upload. Thanks again for fantastic improvements. Fiona

Wow these are brilliant, didn't think anyone would be able to do much with such a dark photo. Thank you all so much.
