Hi,
I found it on a family tree after visiting the Morman church in Leicester where they have more in depth access. But according to Jelaire's story it all seems to make sense. Looks as if Herman and Alice were going to be married on 25th September, but she died on the 15th. Sad, as a lot of our ancestor's stories are.

Hi,
Help required please re a marriage in Utah. We have an Alice Golair Weston who supposedly married Herman B Denkers on 25th September 1890, but then we find a death of Alice Golair Weston as 15th September 1890!!!! Can anyone assist please? Could it be the dates have been mixed up? Any help would be appreciated.

Cheshire Lookup Requests / Re: 1938/1939 Elecoral Registers for Dukinfield, Cheshire

Hi Heather,
I did get a reply saying their records weren't complete so they've been unable to check for the address!
They have suggested the British Library might be able to help!
If you get a chance, the address is 6 Platt St, Dukinfield.
Yes, she should be over 21, as think she was born either 1917 or 1918.

Is there anyone who might be able to look on the 1938 & 1939 electoral Registers for Dukinfield, Cheshire for me please. I have a specific address and just need to know who was on the register for those years. It should be my Great Grandfather and either an adopted or foster daughter.

Hi Valerie,
Just had a reply back from the RCMP.
They say they had 2 members with the surname of Weston serving between 1920 - 1936
Weston, George Henry (# 11060) [served 15-Oct-1931 to 14-Oct-1953]
Weston, Leonard (# 10270) [served 25-Apr-1927 to 18-Aug-1953]
We do have other ancestors with the names of George and also Leonard so will try following these leads.
Run Kitty - Thanks for the website http://www.rootschat.com/links/0dap/ but I can find no mention of either of them on this site. The site does only run from 1925-1935 and so if my uncle emigrated prior to 1925 he won't be on there anyway. But again, thank you. It is a good site to have.
