sorry didnt mean to confuse anybody today my sister signed up for rootschat today and we both posted the same person lol have sent all your replies from everyone to her and we thank you very much for the info and for any future replies one other thing we would both like to know how and why did a man from mt gambier  meet a girl from orange back in the day it keeps us   scratching our head thanks again to you all will look up info u gave us

looking for information on agnes emily grinstead father frederick grinstead married francis sarah mason in battersea uk came to australia shortly after marriage first child edward john born redford nsw then to trunkey creek nsw where agnes was born in 1876 then moved to cadia in nsw then moved to orange in new south wales and had two more sons. agnes married john peter leonard in orange church of england  4th april 1899 they then lived in mount gambier

Hi i was wandering it anyone could help me my great great grandfather was a johann jurgen leonard schinckel from holm born 1823. he immigrated to Australia. I have all the information since his arrival in australia but i would like to know more about his family father/mother grandparents etc in germany before he came here. Although i know the history in australia i cannot find out out what ship he came in .Any information about his family in germany would be appreciated i dont even know how to obtain that sort of information in Germany Thanks for any help you can give Justlinley

hi i was wandering if anyone has the family history of the hancock family in somerset. My great  grandfather was george henry and wife selina  they immigrated to Australia. I have all i need once they arrived but i would like to know more about his father grandfather etc back in someset. I think his father was george also born 1816 milverton  married to Eliza criddle  I have been looking on the net and there is a lot of old posts on different sites with the name coombes  or parsons mentioned with the family.  Any help would be appreciated so as i know if i am on the right track. thank you justlinley

thanks for your help will look into everything suggested. It is a frustrating thing family history lol especially if you only have official documents which may or not be right lol i looked again at his death cert and it diffently says died at 77 years born  from a place called beansford married at about 19 years and had lived in australia for 54 years before he died in 1909. Maybe his wife still had a scottish accent and it sounded like beansford lol . I also have death cert for margaret who died 1912 at the age of 92  born Falkirk Scotland married at age 30 lived in australia for 57 years before death looks like she was a lot older then him. On son johns death certh he was born in scotland and if dates are correct he was born 1853  It is a scratch your head situatiion isnt it lol  Thanks again

looking for parents,grandparents of Andrew logan born beansford or bainsford scotland between 1829 and 1833 approx immagrated to adelaide  on ship marion  1854 with wife wife i beleive to be Margeret Brown. Death cert shows him to be born 1833 but have other info showing him born 1829 not sure which is right. I have her birth as 1820 married to Andrew in 1851 one of their children was a son John born scotland 1853 . New to this so i hope i have posted this right

just new no idea what i need to do. I am looking for information about Andrew Logan born Scotland 1832 died adelaide australia 1909 according to death cert he was born in Beansford but i cant find a town of that name the closest being Bainsford. I have all of the information on the Australian side but would like to know more about his parents and grand parents etc how do i go about it read all your instructions but i must be a bit dense not even sure if this is a post lol
