I've taken a look through the Burial Register for 1902/03 of St. Sannan's Bedwellty and can find no evidence to support your theory that he may be interred with the other persons mentioned.

Gwyn,

Also in the 1841 census for Marshfield is this family:-

Thomas Jones  55  shopkeeper
Mary Jones      55
Mary               20
William           20
Ann                15
Thomas           15
Cecilia             15

This Thomas and Cecelia could be Elizabeth's brother and sister. Witnesses maybe?

May have been John's father in law, Elizabeth's family.

There is a Marriage in Marshfield Parish Church that may be of interest to you.

John Thomas, OTP, bachelor and Elizabeth Jones, OTP, spinster, were married at this Church by Banns
on the 27th May 1837. Both signed their names. In the presence of Thomas Jones and Cecilia Jones.

Civil registration started July 1837 so you will not find this entry in the Registrar General Records.

As yet have not found a Baptism for John Jnr. in Marshfield

Baptism records for Dingestow are held at Gwent Archives, Ebbw Vale. If you pass on a little more information about the 1855 Baptism I'll do a look up for you.

Registers for St. Mary's Parish Church Risca are held at Gwent Archives Ebbw Vale.

You didn't specify whether 1786, 1886 or 1986 so I took a look at the entry for 1-8-1886 in the Baptism Register, and there are two.

Ethel Perret and Stanley Horatio Williams, if one of these is the person you are researching let me know and I'll forward further information.
