still trying to find the birth/baptism/parents of thomas williams/william, who married mary ann sutton handsworth st marys 1810.  he died in 1845 and according to the censuses he was born c 1784-1786 in staffs.
several possibilities in staffs, some in warks and a couple in worcs.  if this rings a bell i would welcome any hints to prove or disprove any of these possibles.
regards

Hello
still trying to find the birth/baptism of William/Wilmot Bathie in India, c 1856, and his death/burial after 1905.
I have the slightest lead - William Beattie b 1841 hampshire, England, bp 1856 in India .  Does anyone have any info on this William so I can accept or reject him?
thanks

Dear Wolfie

Thank you again.  Seems pretty conclusive.  Wonder where ( If ? ) they married.  More work to do, as you say, but a pretty good start !

Regards

Helen

dear wolfie smith and jen b ( and all the others who posted ideas )

what can I say.   YOU ARE BRILLIANT !  the suggestions you posted have broken down a brick wall in minutes that has taken me years !
I sent for the birth certificate of Robert Dickison from Castle Ward district.  It came this morning and it is the right one ! ( all that trying just for a spelling mistake in his surname ).

Now I am searching for the marriage of Joseph Dickinson and Elizabeth ARMSTRONG c 1824.

Thank you

Helen
