Thanks for all your help still cannot find a marriage Ann Edwards parents were Thomas Edwards and Ann Edwards and they lived at Tyno Ucha Garth Trevor Llangllen.  John Lloyd and Ann Edwards had a daughter Jane Ann Lloyd who died 21 March 1877 aged 11 months.

On looking at the census there seems to John Lloyds father appears to have been married twice as he had another son Hugh born 1839 in Gwyddelwern  as Ann Edwards would have been about 25 - 26 when she and John got together I wondered if she had been married before perhaps even to Hugh.  I suppose anything is possible because after John Lloyd died she married Joseph Jones.

Thanks for that.  It is the same Eliza Totham that I have it is just strange that uin 1861 she was staying with James Hutley who it was said was her father going by the age difference she was born when he was 14 and her mother was 23.

In 1861 James Hutley was living at 13 Hyde Gant Braintree Essex he was aged 28.  At that time an Eliza Totham (who was born at Braintree Union Workhouse Essex - Mother Sarah) was living with him and in the census it said that James Hutley was her Father she was then aged 13.  I am tracing the Tree of Eliza and wonder if anybody can help me in confirming that I am on the right track and that James Hutley was her father.

Denbighshire / Marriage of John Lloyd and Ann Edwards
« on: Thursday 19 January 12 12:49 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to trace the marriage of John Lloyd and Ann Edwards.  John was born in Eglwyseg Llangollen in 1852/4 his father was called John and his mother was Susannah.  Ann was born in Garth Trevor Llangollen in 1853 her parents were Thomas and Ann.  John and Ann had three children Jane Ann, Edwin and Elizabeth Ann.  Jane Ann died on 21 March 1877 at the age of 11 months so I summise that John and Ann were married before 1876.

Also John Lloyd Senior I am trying to find out his first wife he was born in Llansanffraid they had a son Hugh born in 1838 in Bontnewydd who also had a son called John born in 1865 in.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks for replying. Robert L Pemberton was my great great grandfather I did not know he had been married twice.  GNU is right about Robert's father being John Pemberton who was born in Coddington Cheshire in 1789 and died 1870 he married Mary Pulford (born about 1797) in Ruabon Wrexham she died in 1859.  By 1851 they had five children. Thomas baptised 5 March 1825.  Caroline baptised 30 December 1827 she died 16 July 1851 aged 23.
John baptised 27 February 1831 he died on 26 february 1856 in Oldham Lancs aged 25.  Robert L. baptised 14.4.1831 died 10 August 1901 at The Great Western Inn Ruabon.  George born about 1833 he died on 9 January 1903 Rhosymadoc aged 66.
Every bit of information helps.   Thanks TAE
