A bit late to this thread, but I was up at ScotlandsPeople today and found this line for my brother-in-law. Might help?

Hello, I think you are right in that Rennie is Freney/ Franey.
I have Martin Delaney married to Elizabeth Freney.
They had a son John Delaney (b. 1845?)
They also had a daughter Mary Delaney (b. 1853 in Newtown, Queen's County) married Richard Nash (b. 1853) in 1873 in Clonbrock, Laois. (Newtown & Clonbrock are in the same area as Crettyard and Doonane). They moved to Omoa Square in Cleland (sometimes noted as Shotts but that is the district - Cleland is the village), Scotland around 1901, with a large family.
Mary's birth and baptism have a witness as Mary Treacey and Mary Traney. I believe these are actually Freney/ Franey. You can see how things get confused!
So I believe your Eliza is sister of Mary Delaney?
Richard and Mary's daughter was Bridget Nash, and whom married a Delaney.
Her son was Scotland footballer Jimmy Delaney of Celtic, Manchester United, Aberdeen, Derry and Cork. His son was Patrick Delaney of Motherwell football club.

Thomas Dormer who is possibly Elizabeth's brother in first attachment.
Don't know about the rest.
First three are St Abbans, Doonane.
Last one is St Mary's, Mayo (village not county).

Hello Dathai,
Thomas Delaney and Mary Ryan are my family's line. A lot of their offspring moved to Scotland.  Dormers came over too.  I have a big family history write-up I will send if you can send me your email address?
