Hi Datha
Thanks for the information on the Roche family from Wicklow, I wondered what we need to link the sailors to Florence Roche nee Walker. We have a marriage certificate, one of the children's birth cert and an address  they were staying. Ships they worked on Aluna and Cork. With James Roche on board ship Aluna in Liverpool 1901 census. If he is married then his wife would be on the same census with children.

Regards Paul.

hi Dathai
thanks for the reply. I found a James Roche in the Irish census 1901 living in Leland place north dock Dublin. With Father name Michael born in Wicklow 1881 also a fireman. The family said that they though he was from Wicklow ,but your find may be him if we could relate him to his wife that would be it.

Regards Paul.

He Dathai ,
thanks for the new information on Anne Elizabeth Roche,I believe that a boy was born also but I don't know his name. They say that the family may have lived in Liverpool for a short period .Unable to find where or how James Roche died. It should be possible, because of the small window.  Married 1907 died between  this date and 1919 on his Wife's death certificate.

hi Sinann
I was on Waterford Rootschat page 3 look up Ryan family, 4 years ago during that period,I found on Waterford directory 1877 and 1894 .Richard Sullivan's lodging house no 4 and in 1894 Mary's Sullivan lodging house Barronstreet little.
I thought maybe Richard died within that period, The Ryan family married Richard b 1873 in Dublin 1907.

Hi sinann, the information provided by Jim Burke is correct, I also found possible parents but can not be sure Francis sullivan Margaret corish Dec 1828 but there are others. About year or so I found a death of a Richard Sullivan in jervis st hospital 6 12 1925 who died from a head injury a inquest was held but no information on line. This could be Richard the son 1873 as there is know family names on the register it's hard to say.
