Hi,

That information looks spot on it took me years to find that out.

Henry Rickhuss is not burried in Bridgnorth ...Staffordshire is
a possible maybe Hednesford / Cannok area?

The last bit is almost there a death cerficicate reference
so I can go buy it and finish the puzzle.

Did he marry again did he have more children etc just any information
would be fantastic.

Thanks

Henry Rickhuss
Registerd Jul-Aug-Sep 1888
Bridgenorth, Shropshire
Volume 6a
Page 8

As I said I have his birth certifiacte and marriage... The details you have given above as I remember
look correct and as I found them so this looks like the correct person

I have the paperwork somewhere so I will try to find it asap

He was about 27 /28 in 1917 when he married Sarah she was about 18 / 19 at the time.

His mother Alice and father William I found their graves in Bridgnorth they died within a year
of each other around the end of WW2

I really had give up to be honest finding any more details of Henry...

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you very much for replying so quick..

I've been looking for H Rickhuss and his death details for about 8 years, I had a glue that Staffordshire
was a connection. I know very little about how to trace family history so I was not sure if I was on the right lines.

The details I would like to be sure about is his death age and location and if possible where his grave is or how to locate it.

What I do know and what I have is his birth date, and his mother / father's also the date of is married. I have
his birth certificate and his marriage certificate which was Feb 1917 to Sarah Beddoes in Bridgnorth. I even have his WW1 medal card as Rickhuss is a very rare name so I can be fairly sure it is his medal card? I had an idea he may have become a policeman over staffordshire way after the war. I saw a birth certificate for one of his sons and it gave an occupation before and after WW1 as a Footman possible something to do with Morville Hall near Bridgnorth.

The last time he was seen was in 1945 in Bridgnorth in a pub so I am told?

You mention a volume and page number excuse me but how did you find that and where was it. You seem to have found information in a flash I had given up finding the details but saw this forum by chance.

I did buy time with Ancestry.com some years ago but as I remember because I knew nothing no dates etc just to find his married took me a long time.

Thanks

Thanks
