Hi,
I'm looking for the resting place of my Great Grandfather Leonard Timothy O'Gara who died 21 February 2000.

Find A Grave says he was cremated on 24 February 2000 and buried in Toowoomba Garden of Remeberance.

It would me so much if you would be able to find anything there. I know very little about his time in Australia as he was born in Surrey, England before emigrating to Australia in 1955.

Thank You,
Rebecca

Thank you for the website I shall have a look. What I do know while he was in the army was that he did some kind of parachuting.

Hi,

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. I'm hoping to apply for an British army record of my deceased Grandfather but do not know his Soldier number. Is there anyway of finding out this information.

Also I don't know if you can but is there any information you can get from a photo of his uniform.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Hello all,

I've benn thinking of either buying or subscribing to a family history magazine. But are they actually worth the money if so which would you recommend.

Also the same question about books to do with family history.

I've been doing my research for about two years now and still consider myself a beginner.

Thank You

I recently visited the office at Herringthorpe Crematorium to look through the Moorgate records. They are detailed and you can even look up who else is buried in the same plot. Here's their phone number 01709 850344.
