Thanks to the member who suggested the Scottie press.  I have now changed my search to Riossi, or Riozzi or Riozzie as it seems the name went through some changes.

Thanks for your help and advice

Lancashire / Riozzie or Riozzi or Riossi family in Liverpool

Hi

Trying to find an A* Riossi or Riozzi or Riozzie who may be living in Liverpool with relatives in the 1940's or 50's.  He was born in 1936 maybe in Italy, maybe in England.   In 1953 he started to  train in the restaurant business as his father had a restaurant.   If you are of this family  I would love to hear from you.

thanks

That's fantastic!

Can you tell me where you got that information?  I'm afraid I'm a beginner at this.

thanks so much.

I'm searching for the mother of Charles Valentine Baker born 1863, St. Pancras.  Sister is Ada L and brother is John Edward.  Moved to Liverpool in mid 1880's

HI All

I just want to say thanks so much for all your help.  I'm not able to continue with my search at the moment but another family member has been keeping up and will be taking it on, his user name will be Anders so if you see him up there please keep with him, you've all been a fantastic help.

thanks again

HI

The interesting thing is that this ship could take hundreds of passengers but only had 8 at the time he travelled.  Since found out it was converted to a hospital ship so now I need to find out what he was doing on the ship before then.

thanks to all

Kay

HI Sue

I'm chuffed with the information you found.  Can I ask where you saw it?  I've been able to find an image of the ship as well as some fascinating info.

cheers

Kay
