The Common Room / Ida Shaw married William Isaac Payne in 1896

Looking for Ida Shaw's parent and sibling names.
Ida was suppose to be from Ireland.
Ida Married William Isaac Payne (born in IN, living in NJ) in 1896 the same year my Grandmother, the only child of this union, was born. They divorced soon afterward.

How about your reference to:
There was a death notice in the New York Times that indicated Mabel P. Payne died 23 Feb. 1937 at New York Infirmary.
It says internment private.

I can't pull this up from fultonhistory.com

THANK YOU!
I will try to locate any additional information on Billy!
Norman Rockwell Museum requested that I send them the actual date of death.
They didn't have any records back in the day on Billy, not even his date of death.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!

Regarding your last post:

there is a death notice in the Sun and New York Herald for William I. Payne, son of William & Mabel, who died at New Rochelle on 26 Feb. 1920 in his 16th year.  Funeral services at Trinity Church, New Rochelle.

I have been searching the site, but haven't found the death notice yet.  What is the secret search phrase?
I've used:  William I. Payne
                   William & Mabel
                    Death notice 26 Feb 1920

My grandmother was Gertrude Payne > (her father was) William Isaac Payne > (his father was) Smith Payne.

William Isaac Payne is my biggest problem.

He lived in both IN & NY.

He was married a couple times with a child from the two marriages that I know of, but can’t verify the wife’s names.

I believe William died in NY, but I can’t find his death date or resting place.

His son William "Billy" died as a teenager, can’t find anything on him either.  I believe his mothers name was Crable {aka “Mable” (unk maiden from Maine)} Payne

William Isaac’s other child was Gertrude Lillian Payne. Her mother was Ida Shaw from Ireland. May have been an actress.  Sometime after Gertrude’s birth, they divorced & Ida returned to Ireland.

Gertrude was an unruly child. William shipped Gertrude to live with his mother Elizabeth Blake Payne to raise in Remington, IN area.

Thank you for your time, or any information you would be willing to share with me.
