World War Two / Royal Artillery Attestation

I have found my father's attestation on Find My Past.

I have attached a copy.
Is anyone able to explain the note written below his army number?

What do the two numbers below his name mean?

Thanks for any help.

Please could someone help. I have William and Elizabeth Rees parents of four children all baptised at Pembroke St Mary. William 1799, Anne 1802, George 1804 and John 1807.

Could someone lookup to see if they married in Pembroke and what Elizabeth's name was.

Glamorganshire / Re: Miss Margaret Davies-school teacher

There is a Margaret Ann Davies, school teacher, living at home in tynewydd lodge, blackwood. Which is only just over the mountain from brithdir. If I am thinking of the correct Brithdir, that is the one between Bargoed and New Tredegar, near the boundary with Monmouthshire.

I live in Wales.
Could well be that Elsie was the issue. I don't know. All I knew before was that she was a niece Mary, widow of Samuel, in the 1901 census. They were living in New Tredegar, about 5 miles from where I live.
Uncle Dai died in Illinois in 1970. He only came back to Wales on holidays. He usually stayed with Robert.
I have now found that David James had been married previously married. Head one daughter called Annie Maud who married Henry Finch. They went to America in 1921. I remember her letters to my grandmother. My mother always referred to her as Auntie Maud.

I will go to visit my mother's cousins. One lived with Robert until he died and continued to live in the house afterwards. I'll see if I can find anything more about Elsie.
