1861 Mary Ann living with her parents in Hythe,Fawley-place of birth Hurst Castle not surewhere that is in relation to Hordle.

Hi Mary gives here bithplace as Ardil.
Her husband Alexander was in barracks in Porthsea & they married 1871 in Portsea Island.
1891 Mary gives her place of birth as Lymington.
Alexander was in the 77 Foot Regiment (Regimental Number   3688) & was a Chelsea Pensioner.
Sadly my wife's 2nd GGM was only 53 when she died in East Ham , Essex.

Gosh Thanks for those . I missed them somehow Mary Jane Robson was our gr grand aunt & married John T Arnell who was in Northumberland Fusiliers in WW1

might be a glitch
I saw the 3 war hints on Purvis family tree....When I click on his war record on the left 1914-20 it is blank but on mine it is mentioning Orkney   v odd  I do check source citations they were in my ancestry hints as normal from ancestry sources.
