Hi my great great grandparents Patrick Murphy of Newtown and Mary Kehoe of Nurney were married in Bagenalstown Church in February 1873.
Their daughter Ellen born Dec 1873 is my great grandmother.

Mary's parents were Michael Kehoe and Bridget Tracey.
Patrick's parents were Patrick Murphy and Eleanor Hickey.

Thanks, I got their church marriage certificates from St.Catherine's in Meath Street, so got Mary  and Ellen Murphy's mother's names. One record said there mother was Kate Merry and another Catherine Merriman. Anyway they were born in Harold's Cross which may have been considered Co. Dublin in 1901 and then by 1911 it was considered Dublin City.

You are very welcome. There are lots of newspaper articles on the Irish Newspaper archive about Morgan Farrell and John Murphy. Also George Murphy who died on Xmas Eve in Synge Street.

Hi does anyone know anything about Mary Murphy who married Peter Walker in St.Catherine's Meath St in 1897. I believe Mary is a sister of my great Grandmother Ellen Murphy.

I have their civil  marriage records and found them on census.  Marriage records show that Mary and Ellen"s father is James Murphy   1901 census says she was born in Co. Dublin not Dublin City. Anyone know the Dublin City limit for census  purposes?
Have asked St.Catherines for church marriage certs but haven't got them yet.

Just wondering if there are some Walker ancestors ls out there that know more about Mary's father James Murphy don't know his wife's name or his address.
Peter and Mary walker lived on Donore  Ave.

I have found a funeral notice for my granduncle Thomas Patterson(aka Sam) or Jackson  said he was Old lRA. 4th Battalion C Coy.  He was from Cork St just beside Emerald Square. Apparently he was in receipt of a military pension for his service. He would have been around 17 years of age in 1916. Does anyone have any details about 4th Battilion C Coy?
