try burial grounds ross and Cromarty roots.when you go on it press headstones ,they have all headstones of a lot of grave-yards in ross-shire.

try  ross and cromarty roots ,go to the grave headstones.there a small box on your left side if you press it it will give you names of all grave-yards.i traced some of my relations doing this.

Catherine Cameron nee Mackenzie did not die at leanaig as I have her death certificate,she died at
woodlands farm near dingwall back road of evanton.as grannie showed me the farm cottage they lived in,dont think its there now.grannie dad lived up the road from them.that;s the road grannie step-mother got knocked down in.

thanks I would love more info.my relative was a farmer that what on his daughter Catherine
death certificate.i know nothing else about them.

murdo death certificate  is dated  17 july 1858 at lennach ferintoshit was signed by his brother William.catherine died 11april 1897 at leanaig.john died 17 sept 1866 at leanaig john died of
comsumption or tb.murdo died of liver cancer.alexander died of kidney disease in 6 march 1899.murdo the son of murdo died of bronchitis in8 feb 1861 at leanaig.

is anyone related to Catherine Mackenzie born 1820 or 1822 at fodderty parents alexander
Mackenzie mother jane nee Bethune.catherine went on and married murdo Cameron ,I am related to all of them.murdo-catherine was my 3xgg grand-parents.catherine married murdo in 1848 at
Urquhart and logie wester.murdo died in 1858 Catherine died in 1897  at leanaig.
        hope somebody can help.

sorry forgot murdo born 1855 died at leanaig in 1861 the year before his grand-mother ann nee
macdonald.also have ann marriage and death certificate also murdo birth and death ceretificates;
poor kid he died very young.

hi alex,
your cousin Irene here,john died in 1866 at leanaig ann died in 1874 died same place,
Duncan I cant find anything about him.john signed his grand-mother death certificate.
murdo brother William who was born in 1804 died in dingwall he never married.i know all this as I have there birth marriage and death certificates.also I have been to there graves plus also leanaig farm it self lovely place.
