Attn Astreanz.
The Catholic Parish Register for Terryglass shows William Guerin was baptised Apr 12 1828 & living in the townland of Clooninihy County Tipperary.
His parents are Michael Guerin & Nancy Cahalan
I cannot find Bridget's baptism as the register starts July 1827 but Ancestry show May 27 1827.
Anne= Oct 12 1833,
John= Jul 8 1835
Patrick= Jul 2 1839
Michael= May 5 1841
5 other siblings are on the free internet register if you are interested?

Records of children baptised to William O'Brien & Jane Culleen Tulla Co Clare Ireland.
Mary       Feb 11    1854
Elizabeth Mar   3    1855
Bridget    Feb   8    1856
Jane        Feb   9    1857
Alice        Jan  29   1859
Michael    Feb 14    1860
Ellen        Apr 16    1861
Ellen        Jun   2    1862
William    Jul    15   1863
Ellen        Sep  24   1864
I can find no record of marriage for William & Jane in the Tulla records going back to 1819.
This can mean that Jane Culleen was not born in Tulla. Bridget Culleen Portumna townland is recorded as the witness in the baptism records for Ellen Jun 2 1862.
Hope this helps

Can you confirm maybe Moryata. Where did this information come from?
There is a Thomas Power in the townlands of Curragh-Querin and Cloncarran in the parish of Moyarta Co Clare Tithe Applotment (tax) book dated Nov 17 1827.
Today this townland would be called Querrin.

Kevin,
The parents of Honorah O'Brien= John & Honora are recorded on the "Kate" passenger list Oct 8 1851 as residing in Trough Co Clare. Trough is a small townland 2 miles north of Parteen Village in Co Clare.
John O'Brien plus Timothy O'Brien (John's Brother?) appear on Griffiths 1852  Limerick-Clare land survey living on number 2 farm in Trough, Co Clare.
I now think that Honorah was married in Kilquane but  born in Trough.

I also note that William Lloyd's parents Francis & Margaret are recorded as dead on the list.

Kevin, You are very lucky to have traced the locations for both paternal & maternal Irish ancestors to 2 Co Clare townlands located within a 2 mile radius of Parteen Village.

Kevin,
Please check out the Co Clare library at www.clarelibrary.ie genealogy & family history.
Look at the list of freeholders 1821.
You will find Francis Lloyd City Limerick owning land in Cappantimore Co Clare registered Nov 2 1809.
Also George LLoyd owns land in Cappantimore and it may be the same land
Maybe George & Francis were brothers.
I am checking if there is any connection to Alderman Francis LLoyd Sheriff & Mayor of Limerick but like you I am doubtful if he is the father of William.

Kevin,
Norah O'Brien's place of origin is Kilquane, Co Clare.
Kilquane is a very small townland located near the village of Parteen Co Clare close to Limerick City.
You will find baptism evidence for all the 5 LLoyd children on the nli.ie RC register for Parteen and they confirm that your baptism dates are 100% correct.
It confirms the parents are Guielmus (Latin for William) Lloyd and Honorah (Nora)  O'Brien and it gives the LLoyd home as Capintimore.
Unfortunately Parteen marriage records for 1838 are not online but they may physically exist?
I cannot find any information on Williams & Norah's parents.

Roxy,
Your information matches the White records found on the Newmarket on Fergus Catholic Parish register available free on registers.nli.ie
In addition I found a sister of Patt's = Mary White Baptised Feb 6 1856.
You will need to spend some time checking all the records as they are difficult to read.
Good Luck.

Clare / Re: Elizabeth Jane RODGERS - Feakle, Co Clare, Ireland
« on: Wednesday 22 October 14 20:53 BST (UK)  »
I checked the old church records for Feakle parish dated 1842 to 1861.
I did not find any mention of Elizabeth Jane Rodgers.
The church records are very old and difficult to read and 30% of records were NOT registered.
Your post says she was only 6 years old when she left Ireland. Do you know who traveled with her?
Is the connection to Feakle verbal or do you have other information?
I have some Rodgers in my family tree from Feakle parish.
