Hi all thay were stud up along the wall but later on some were layed down so people could walk and see or read the stones I no my mam and dad were upset at wat the council did now there's excise gear in different places on the land and people just stand there talking crazy but the council like wasting money in boro

Hi I live in eston up the road is a place called upsill it as farm land stables an old people home and a garden center it as a mining past as Eston ironstone mines if you put upsill near eston in to your browser it with come up with loads of information hope this helps

Hi I'd just thought I'd mention my farther worked on the river tees witch goes from doggy market up to south bank and granetown on the river over the road from British steel coke ovens and number 1 / 2 /  3  blast furnises with number 4 / 5 furnises were thay made pig iron for the ship so thay stay stable on the see's  the website communicate as stopped working  but you can have a look at Francis faith website that have 10000 of pictures of any town full of information hope it helps

Some very old but new photographs are coming out on #pintrest witch many people would like to see again or haven't
