Hi, i am trying to trace my 3x great grandmother Annie Murray (nee) Clucas. I can trace her after her marriage but i'm having real trouble tracing her before that. On the census records that i have found her on it says that she was born on the Isle of Man possibly Ramsey about 1829. Her marriage certificate lists her father as a William Clucas who was a Surgeon.

any help greatly appreciated.

Sadly no i can only seem to find her after her marriage in 1865 under her married name of Margaret Favell, her father's occupation on her marriage certificate lists him as a Labourer. The marriage took place in London so i'm not even sure where exactly i should be looking for her in the 1851 & 1861 Census' as i don't know whether she was the only member of the family to leave Wales or if her parents came with her.

on the 3 census records that i've found they list place of birth as Llanelly, Monmouth & South Wales. As for her mother's details i haven't a clue that's why i need her birth certificate.

I am trying to trace my 3x Great Grandmother's family but i'm having trouble locating her birth certificate, her name was Margaret Pritchard, i know from her marriage certificate that her father's name was David Pritchard, and the census' have told me that she was born in south wales abt 1844.
I was wondering if there is any way of narrowing down the search as there seems to have been multiple Margaret Pritchard's born about that time in Wales, and i can't afford to buy birth certificates for all of them?

Thanks
Sarah.

Hi & thank you,
She is indeed the Anne Catherine O'Sullivan born in St Saviour her birth certificate lists the family as living at 1 Hendre Road at the time of her birth which is where i found the family living in the 1901 census.

In 1891 the family appear to be living in camberwell with their elder children, John Joseph, William Henry, Mary M & Thomas J O'Sullivan.
