Hello Sarah E
Thank you so much for the info and sorry this has taken me so long in replying to your post. I have been out of it for a while. The post you sent me dated 3 Dec 05 was very helpful today I was able to find my gg grandfather Robert Brewins (hiding under the surname Brenins) if it was not for this info I would have never found this. Again Thank You
Sue

Hello                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Thank You to all who replyed. How would one go about finding who John Brewins and Martha England's parents were? I live in the US and there are not many sites to go to, to find this information. I still need info on the death of John and Martha (England) Brewins and Robert b. 1836 and Mary b. 1829 (Douglass) Brewins.
Thank you for all your help.

Derbyshire Lookup Requests / Re: Brewin 1851 census
« on: Friday 30 September 05 18:45 BST (UK)  »
Jacqui,
George and Emma ARE living at 73 Rivelle St Derby, in 1861 with son Samuel age 10, son William age 7, daughter Rebecca age 5, and son George age 1. I'm also doing research on the Brewins family of Rawcliffe, Yorkshire. But i'm not able to accuess the census for 1841 or 51 and these are the records I need. My Brewins family has an s at the end of the name, I see your George and Emma don't use the s. I hope this helps.

I'm looking for the census records for John and Martha (b. 1814) Brewins in Rawcliffe in 1841 and 1851 thier children were Robert b. 1836 Rawcliffe, James W b. 1842 Rawcliffe, Emma b. 1848 Rawcliffe, William b. 1850 Rawcliffe, Joseph b. 1852 Rawcliffe. Were there other children? John was a Post Master in 1834 Pigots Directory, Martha was a Post Mistress in the 1861 Census. Did John pass away before the 1861 census? He is not listed on any of the census records for 1861, 71, 81. What Civil Parish were they in? Is there a way to find out where someone may be buried at? Robert was my ggg grandfather his wife was Mary Douglass b.1829 Hemingbrough.
Thank You
