Thank you.
From what I can understand it's possible that my gran had a adoption certificate.  But how she got it I don't know

Family History Beginners Board / Could someone please help

I'm trying to find out where I can ask about my Grans adoption certificate.

One of my brothers said my gran Eveline had a birth certificate.
I asked him if he knew any details on I'm looking for her birth name.
He replied back and said he couldn't remember. And said she was Jewish and married into the Jones family.
Well I know my gran Eveline wasn't Jewish. And I know she married into the Jones family because she married Alfred Evan Jones.

I have a few helpers.  One gave me an idea.  And said maybe it was a adoption certificate.

Can anyone please tell me who do I ask and what/how do I word it?
I've never done this before.
Please if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

I.hope this isn't against the rules?

Thank you for your help and your time.

I'm sorry for the delay in replying back to everyone who helps me with my searching.
I would like to say a big thank you to you all.

Without this site and all my helpers I wouldn't know the thing's I do now.

Since my mum passed away 5years ago this coming March. Everyone has been a great help. There's so many things I have found out about my mums family. Since she's been gone. I only wished she was here now so I can share everything with her. My mum asked me a few months before she passed away why not do her family background.  She began to help me. But sadly she passed away not knowing that her gran Frances Jones and her father Alfred Evan Jones wasn't born in where she thought.
I can only imagine what she would have said now if she knew.
Maybe her dad Alfred  was in Wales  without his mum for some reason.
Something I would never know. Where he was from when he was born until he joined his mum in his teens. My great gran Frances Jones was in rusholme road  as a house keeper.
There's always going to be a small gap for me.
My next task is to find out where my gran Eveline was born and her real birth name.
This is not just for myself.
It's for my mum in memory of her and something she would have liked me to carry on with.

Thank you all again for helping me with everything.

Kind regards Dorothy

Thank you all so very much.
You all have been amazing.
 There's alot I didn't know about.
All I knew was his name and dob.
Thank you all so very much.  To be honest I  didn't think anyone could find anything because I couldn't.  So I asked my great helper and of course this brilliant site.
Thank you all again. Greatly appreciated.
Cathy  I can't open the links.

Just have to work out how to save it all to my computer. So I won't loose anything. 😊
