I got divorced 30 years ago after a very unhappy marriage - on the day of the decree my ex promised to dance on my grave.  I've requested to be buried at sea  :o

Just think what a joy it would have been to have long chats with that lady - her memory would have been a treasure chest. 

My mother in law passed away aged 93 two years ago - she was as sharp as a tack and had total recall of her life.  Her vivid descriptions of her childhood in central Edinburgh during the 1920's and her knowledge of her own parents early lives was invaluable from a family history perspective.  I had 25 years worth of conversations with her that were a complete joy.  RIP Jane.
