Hi,
I wonder if 8 years on, you are still researching these names?
I am directly descended from John Barclay and Catherine Halligan. My mother is Margaret (formerly) Barclay.
Kind regards, Andy

Hi, I'm quite new here, so after reading the guidelines, hope my post conforms.
I'd like help looking up Leah Grossman on the 1911 census. She was aged 33 and living in Stoke Newington.
The purpose is to hopefully find both address and names of any other members of the household.
My family moved from Poland to Aberdeen and maybe on to London. This could really help add vital evidence and a new trail.
Many thanks, Andy :)

Hi, I'm quite new here, and after reading forum guidelines, hope my request conforms.
I'm requesting help looking up Daniel Rosenthall on the 1901 census.
He was aged 41, in the sub-district of St. Martin and Ecclesiastical Parish of St. Asaph.
The purpose of the request is for the address if given and to find whether any other family members are with him in the household.
Many thanks, Andy :)

Europe / Rosenthal family from Russia/Poland to Aberdeen 1860s
« on: Tuesday 19 November 13 15:55 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,
I'm very new here and have had some fabulous help already.
My Rosenberg and related Bromberg family came to Aberdeen between 1861 and '68.
Sources I have indicate their origins as varied as Russia, Poland and Warsaw.
I am aware of boundary/border changes etc in this era.
I would like to further research into my G G Grandfather Daniel Rosenthal, who also arrived between 1861 and '68. If anybody can give me a prod...poke in the right direction as to where to go next, I'd be very grateful.
I have been down the avenues of naturalisation/denization records to no avail, but I think I'm right in saying a five year stay automatically entitled a claim to citizenship after 1870.
Has anyone else been along a similar route with success?
Thanks in advance, Andy.
