Kent / Day and Willard Family In Kent
« on: Thursday 21 December 17 03:18 GMT (UK)  »
Trying to establish whether the Mary Willard who married Peter Day was of the same Willard family leading back to British Royalty. Born about 1680, possibly in Biddenden, Kent,
Peter and Mary had family including sons: Peter, John, James, Septimus and Charles.
There seems to several Mary Willards born about the same time so it is a bit confusing.  :-\

Looking to find more information about Catherine Broadhurst? She married Charles Davie in 1787.
She is listed as being born in Ireland in the 1841 Census.

Hello gaygirl

There is information on the Christchurch City Library site about Augustus Senior and Augustus Junior >http://christchurchcitylibraries.com/Heritage/Publications/RichManPoorMan/>

Augustus Junior married Elizabeth Hamilton and is buried in the Linwood Cemetery
Elizabeth is my ancestor.
Florance Street in New Brighton, Christchurch was named after the Florance family

Hi Janette and Trish

Thank you very much for the information. My husband is a descendant of Richard Smith and is a New Zealander. I am new to Rootschat so if we will get better results on the Leicesterboard I think  I should move the topic there.

Surrey Lookup Requests / Re: looking to find any details of Helen Wheeler circa 1856
« on: Sunday 05 January 14 05:05 GMT (UK)  »
Thank you for trying to help.

Helen was also known as Ellen.  I have found a record matching roughly but it is in Herefordshire so I am unsure if it is her.
I only have details of her marriage here in NZ and her death.

Hello
I am unsure whether Catherine BOAG was definitely born in Edinburgh but on my Grandfather's birth schedule in Moyston, Victoria it is written that she was. Spelling could possibly be BOEG.
Full name Catherine Webester BOAG/BOEG ?

Hoping that Catherine is recorded in the Census of Scotland in 1851.
Catherine went to Australia and married Lachlan MCINNES. Lachlan sailed to Victoria in the Araminta a Scottish Emigrant ship in October 1852.
Catherine died in 1931 and is buried in the New Cemetery Ballarat.
