I am seeking his parents' names.  Family story that his mother was Mary Martin and his father fought under Burgoyne in the American Revolution.  I cannot find his baptism, birthdate, parents' names - nothing.  At some point he traveled to Freshford, Kilkenney and married.  I have his marriage certificate.  He then came to the US.  I am really interested in his family but need assistance.  I know his name is common and that makes it more difficult.  Will be glad of any lead.  Thank you in advance.
