I found marriage document for Philip Burbidge & Lovel Fricker East Knoyle 1809. I note the other post indicating Love Charity birth for 1788 Nov 2. All future documents list a Philip Burbidge with an Ann. I can't find anything indicating death of a Love or Lovel. Ann doesn't seem to be an obvious nickname. Has anyone seen or have access to a death document for Love?

I've just found a Lovel Fricker married to Philip Burbidge b 1788 Jan 21 (my 1st cousin 5x's removed). They married 1809 Mar 28 in East Knoyle. Since I've just found her name I haven't chance to dig too much although I wonder if she might be your Love Fricker.

Thank you for checking Lodger. I really appreciate it. I'll have to go back and re-read the posts to determine why I thought this was right forum for my names. I suspect I might need to move them to a different churchyard. Again, your help was great.

Thank you for post William Currie.
I had originally responded to post indicating an interest for following:
WEIR
WEIR NORRIS
FRAME
FRAME MORTON
FRAME HUTCHISON BLACKWOOD

All names are of interest but Frame Morton and Hutchison especially so. I have birth & marriage information for John Frame (b 1715 Oct 30 Avondale) who married Alison Morton (b 1714 Apr 9 Fife) 1737 Nov 4 in Avondale  . I don't have death information for either so I wonder if the Frame Morton reference in Dalserf churchyard is for same. I also have several generations of William Hutchison/Hutcheson & spouses: William Hutchison b 1790 Lesmahagow d 1867 Kirkmuirhill & Jean Bryson 1795 Avondale d 1877 St Rollox; William Hutchison b 1754 Douglas & Margaret Dun b 1758 Lesmahagow (I have no death info for either); & William Hutchison b  1730 Cadder-d1783 & Marion Weir Carnwath b 1725- d1818 (both died in Carstairs).
Whether you can assist or not, I appreciate the response. Season's Greetings.

I believe I've found my Mary Ann Taggart living in Finiston/Stobcross Street area Parish of Barony on 1841 Scottish census. Census lists Widow Taggart, 40 yrs; Hellen Taggart, 15 yrs Power Loom Weaver; Mary Ann Taggart, 12 yrs Power Loom Weaver; Isabella Taggart, 9 yrs; Sarah Taggart, 7 yrs. Widow, Hellen and Mary Ann all indicated to be born in Ireland while Isabella & Sarah born outside of Scotland for census purpose. I believe this is same Mary Ann Taggart family due to naming standards, occupation in weaving, location as future generations born nearby & Mary Ann moved back to same area sometime between 1853 & 1881. If I am correct, this means Francis Taggart had died before 1841 census. The ages of all are likely inaccurate because everyone over 15 was rounded down to nearest age in multiples of 5. So based on this, I am assuming that Mary Ann had sisters Hellen, Isabella and Sarah. I wonder if anyone has these names in their trees?

Not sure if Mary Ann Taggart who lists father as Francis Taggart is connected to anyone else but thought I'd post what I've found just in case it helps. I've found Birth record for a Francis Taggart on Oct 13, 1797. Record from Shankill St Anne's in Co. Antrim. This birth record lists Francis' parents as Francis and Eliza. Dates can fit for Mary Ann as she was born approx 1821-4 and Antrim so close to Armagh. All the posts are helping me out so I am incredibly thankful to all who are posting.

Thank you for your update. Your information for Francis Taggart marrying Rachel Warwick matches my brother's belief although your date is couple months different. His belief is "On Mary Ann Taggart's death record it is stated Ann Baxter is her mother whom Francis married in 1822, however, Mary Ann Taggart's first child is named Rachel seemingly after Rachel Warwick whom Francis married Sep 17 1821. Francis married Anne Morrison Oct 17 1824 and his first wife was Jane McQuillan. I'm considering that Rachel was Mary Ann Taggart's biological mother, hence the child Rachel and that Ann Baxter was Francis' last wife, hence her mention to be being Mary Ann Taggart's mother on Mary Ann's death certificate." I know that this all might come together one day but for now, I'm still digging and appreciate all the posts.

Not sure if this is still active thread but if so, I do have pictures of:
James Logie (postmaster of Pierowall) and Wife Ann Balfour Logie (nee Hewison)
and others.
One picture I have is titled Grand uncle James Logie, Grand Aunt Ann Balfour Hewison, James Harcus, Neeny Maam, George Rendall and Mrs Rendall circa 1906-1907

My grandfather John Stewart Hewison was born Oct 13, 1896 in Westray to Timothy Harcus (?) Hewison and Elizabeth Walls of Westray.

The Hewison's are descended from the Westray Dons. I remember my grandmother - the above mentioned Milly - talking very fondly of the Logies and the Drevers.

I'm fairly new to Rootschat so not sure yet about appropriateness of posting pictures or what rules might be aside for ensuring not posting pictures of living persons.

If anyone interested in pictures just let me know
