It was some time ago that you posted so I hope this message finds you. My ggg grandparents were John Wood and Margaret Ross married Old Machar 1867. They had a son John Wood who married Helen Smart Bisset and that is who I am descended from. I also have Margaret's parents as Jane Clark and William Ross, and her marriage certificate to John says she was living at South Affleck, Whiterashes Aberdeenshire at the time of marriage, and John Wood was a gardener living at Hatton Castle in Turriff. Let me know if you have found anything else out. Lucy
