Died from Wounds in France on 04-11-1914 Buried in Baillieul, France. Military document states from Camus, Strabane. In a 'Soldiers Effects' document I have found re William, it lists his effects being distributed to the above three brothers, plus a further brother James and a 'Half-Brother', Patrick (Smith) neither of whom I have any info on.
John, Joseph, Charles & William all served in WW1 in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. I have their Service Numbers, etc. but the limited available records do not provide any further leads.
I cannot find where the parents were from and hence cannot find birth or marriage certs. for them. I believe they both died in 1890's (James around 1896 and Lizzie around 1894) hence the boys were split up whilst still young.
Sorry for so much info but really keen to get over this 'brick wall'.
Have visited Registry Office at Letterkenny who searched but no joy.
