We were in Galbally last year following the Knocklong centenary and stopped by the gravestone for William, Bridget etc.

William junior died in November 1916 following his release from Frongoch internment camp.

John Joe and Ned took part in the rescue of Sean Hogan at Knocklong with others from Galbally.

George Alexander Kelly finished WW1 as a Major and WW2 as a Colonel(temporary Brigadier). Retired in 1947 and allowed to use the rank Brigadier.

Re tracing family, there is no family tree on Ancestry.

Arthur J Neilan (and an Annie Neilan) were still living in Mount Harold in 1939/40.

at the end of the burials list in the 1916 Rebellion Handbook is a note to say that 12 unknown persons were buried.
