Thanx to all for looking for me.
To answer some questions
Is John on my tree no
But might be on my partners tree as she had the medal, she can't remember where she got it but suspect's it came from her aunts things, who has sadly past.
John might have been killed in action,I don't think he was born in Indiana.

Hi,
Many thanx Annette I almost got there.Who ever recorded the 1861 census in Inverness must ave have a few drams, because not only recording Nicol's name wrong but got most of the ages wrong to as well. Isabella was 13, I think she was 22 and Elizabeth was 22 I think 17 & married,I think they were mixed them up.
As for Nicol ( Neil ) had another name change on Catherine's birth cert it recorded as Michael .
Oh there is no fathers name on the marys birth cert.
Again many thanx for the help

Hi Trish1120,
I see where your coming from.If I assume that here last name was Lodge instead fudge and that she moved to the poor house with her granny around 1871.But I still can't find a other info on her. There must be a birth cert somewhere.

Hi,
I am trying to trace any info on Mary Fudge born 1860/61 in Glasgow.I've got the 1861 census living with Neil Ferguson (his grand daughter ) and family and she is 5 months old and living in Inverness and that's all.I can't find any other info on her.By the 1871 census Neil has died and his wife Catherine is in the poor house and the rest of the family have gone into service but as for Mary I can find no records for her ie birth , marriage or any census record. Can anyone help.
