Hi, I don't know if you're still looking at this, but I have just found them. Mary Basset was Josepha's grandmother. Edward Ladner married her daughter also Mary in 1836, Josepha was born in 1837 and Mary died in 1838. Edward went on to marry Sally Bramble in 1840. They had several children together and some time between 1847 and 51 emigrated to Australia. They appear with Josepha on Find a Grave : http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=133106170&ref=acom. I'm descended from Edward's brother Thomas, but am finding the Australian connection fascinating. The other Edward Ladner with Mary Ann and William is a red herring. I can't yet find them on a passenger list, but they were farmers so I think they would have gone by assisted passage to South Australia (Adelaide). They ended up in Bendigo (Victoria). Hope that's of interest
