Wonder if you can help... I have a chap who survived WW1 and was a PO on various ships until demob in 1919. He has a small Brass Plaque recording the Princess Irene which sank in May 1915. He was not on the Princess so I am wondering how/why he received it......Can anyone enlighten me. His name was John Harry Lloyd. born 28th March 1878. Have Census', Service Record, Marriage Cert etc.

Hi - am looking for the above chap's enlistment details, and any info as to where he was educated.

I know he was in UK (Glos) in 1891 living with his g/parents.  Then in 1911 he was visiting in Totnes, Devon.

Any further info would be gratefully received.

Hi All

I am trying to find out where Charley was for the 1911 Census and what he was doing before he joined his Royal Horse Artillery regiment and went off to war.

He was born in 1895 in Tunstall, Kent  and lived in Sittingbourne.  His parents ran the Maypole Inn Borden.

Any help would be most appreciated.
