Hi all,

I am trying to find out some information on the above pilot who was killed on 30th Nov 1940 in Northern Ireland.

He is a relation of a friend of mine.

I have some limited info so far but it would be great if someone could find a pic of the gravestone as i cant find that. He is buried in Glenavy roman catholic church Norther Ireland.

He was a polish pilot who fought with 245 Sqn RAF based in Aldergrove.

Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Andy,

Thanks again for all the info.

How often do you go down there as thats a heck of a trip for you!

I think i would like the copied Aug 43 - Aug 44 please as to get the whole lot in one go is going to be expensive.
Then at a later date i can get the rest if thats ok?

Cheers

Hi Drew,

Thanks for your post.

Thats alot of pages!

Basically he was with the 67th Anti tank regt from Aug 43 until the end of the war so i'd like a copy of the diarys from then to piece together his exact whereabouts.

Do you know how many pages it would be for these dates?

Perhaps next time you are there you would be kind enough to maybe have a look and see how big a job it will be?

Many thanks
