Thank you for your help Hallmark, I have read all of the things you added previously during extensive research on the Internet but I cannot find anything that gives a full explanation as to why the lorry crashed. Someone else advised me that the type of lorry was known to be unstable so that was most likely the cause.

Michael is definitely the son of John Fleming & Catherine Purcell from Cloneen.

Are the other children you listed definitely from the same parents please?

Hi Charlotte

I am also researching Michael Fleming for my family tree.
I have learnt that there were 2 others killed & 5 injured when the lorry they were travelling in crashed into the gates of Dromoland Castle but do not know the exact reason for the crash.

I am struggling to find anything else at this time so would appreciate any help possible.
