If this is the same John hall, he seems to be the installer of the machinery, rather than a paper Miller,
Although sites do say it is his watermark on the paper of some of Jane austens letters

I am looking for information on a John Hall who worked at a paper mill in Ringstead Northamptonshire around 1812-1816. Unfortunately I have no other information on him, so any information would be most gratefully received, thank you.
