hi all can anybody tell me if there are any records of prisoners at newgate prison in the 1850/s as my g/g/grandfather was hung outside newgate in 1853 his name was Nathaniel mobbs,any info welcome thanks mick.

hi all i am looking for any info on francois louverie born in balizac france and he died in 1873 in balizac, he married in london in 1870, i cant find any relatives on the louverie side in england or france, i would welcome any help.

hello jennifer, thanks for your reply, yes i am part of the mobbs/butters family,i have only just started on this site so i have not got the hang of it yet,Ive Bean trying to find the two louverie girls for about 10-15 years so I'm trying anything i can thanks mick.

Josephine louverie and Mary louverie are the daughters of francois and emily maria louverie formerly mobbs,        francois dide in 1873 in France and Emily died in 1875 in Marylynne. Ive been trying to find more information about the orphanage 69-71 Margaret street, on the 1868 map of London its known as the all saints infant nursery if anybody can help I would be most grateful.
