I would be interested to have a look at the certificate(s) that you say that you have been able to obtain for Francis (Frank) William DANDO AKA DAVIS. He is my maternal great grandfather and my mother has always said he "just disappeared" and her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth DANDO nee HERBERT, came to stay with them, being her daughters, Ellen, Rita, and Dorothy, who had by that time moved to the south of Tasmania.
