i am hoping you can tell me or help clear something up i have now got 2 questions to ask what year did Mary  pass away and i have come across that James had possibly middle name of Browne Stewart is this ringing a bell or cropping up in your findings of the Stewarts because another family member who is researching has come across another possibly marriage of which is putting more questions into my head as to what is going on..lornalxx

Hi Fran thank you for your reply the lady in question who i have managed to confirm as our paternal Great Great Grandmother is a Hannah Cheasley the 3 boys are the eldest is William Henry Stewart  who is my Great Grandfather Albert Stewart and Frederick John Stewart it is me trying to understand are these James Stewarts boys its been a 5 year battle thinking that Hannah wasnt their mother and a missing census which i have just found on that it says william and albert as cheasley but the birth registrations are showing up as stewart....xx

Hi i maybe off the track here but reading your post has left me with a question i am researching Richard and Margarets son James our line state he is my Great great Grandfather the issue i have is that the mother of our line was not Mary but Hannah i know through different sourcing that james when he  married hannah 1877 in London area was widowed but she was a spinster but  had 3 boys all surnamed stewart birth registration as stewart between the years of 1868 to 1872 which leaves me wonderingxx

just replying again checked my tree again to make sure it tallies with your info i definately can say we have the same names on the tree...As you replied i was getting ready to go out so i couldnt completely check but now have done and settled my own mind that we have although on different lines the same Gr Gr Grandparents Kind Rgards Lorna

Thank you so much for replying its great too just be sure that i am getting it correct about the ancestry for our family line its been very difficult as the only evidence i had was my Great Great Grandad James 2nd Marriage Certificate to go by for his fathers name and i now feel very happy ...kind regards Lornax

I put a message on the other day i omitted too say the line i believe for my fathers family is a Richard Stewart b1815 Carrington Midlothian he is my 3rd Gr Grandfather one of his sons moved down too London and only through my 2nd Gr Grandfathers second marriage as i cannot find paternal 2nd Gr Nana we managed to find Richards name and occupation was put as farmer...Lornax

Hi too anyone that can help me i believe that Peter is related to my fathers family have worked out he is possibly my 4 th cousin but too be sure i would love to know can anyone relate too me who is his fathers Mother and Father is and if anyone knows his siblings i do have them but wish too be very certain that i have the right family thank you ever so much anything will be very much appreciated..Lorna
