Must have driven past that pub a million times- never gone in and never knew there was any link to it at all!!
It might have said James! I know they completely cut him out of the family when he married Inge, hence why its been really hard to find anything out about them (and my family tree is tiny lol)
I've updated the settings now so you should be able to see everyone

Yep, my mum, dad and brothers live in Disley, which is maybe 2 miles from Hazel Grove if that? I live in Northwich in Cheshire, and strangely enough my sister lives in Nottingham!!

lol tbh I found this thread a long time ago but never did anything about it! I also gave up trying to do my family tree as I didn't know anything and there was no one to ask!!! Even my dad doesn't know- although he did suddenly remember a "Keith"...

Well, I know we have a small pile of photos that just "appeared" one day, that we always thought were James Edwin and his side of the family. Some of the photos have first names written on the back, but of course they never meant anything to us! I will definately have a look at them when I go home and see if they tally up with your family tree!!
My dad is so pleased! He has never felt like he had any family, but now it appears he has loads!! My dad also thinks James Edwin had a son called Keith (who was possibly his and Mabel's son?).
How interesting it all is!

My poor brain is still trying to figure it out! My dad reckons the donkey is clearly a relative!!! And the one on the right is definately!!
