I am trying to find out more information about John Marks and Mary (Clinton?) who had 3 children baptised in Kells 1783-1792 (Robert, Eleanor, Elizabeth) and there may be more children I don't know about.  I would love to know where and when John and Mary married or even where/when they died.

Does anyone know what became of this family?

I'm also trying to find out more about Cormack Marks who had a son John baptised in Kells in 1791 but I can find nothing about Cormack in in any records so far.  I've tried RootsIreland, Ancestry and Findmypast but no luck so far.

I would be most interested to hear from anyone who has MARKS ancestry in the South Petherton area and especially if you know of MARKS' that moved from South Petherton across to Ireland in 1600/1700's.

Yes, I've heard and read all about Frank Wilfred.  He and Frank were cousins.  About 20 odd years ago I took a photo of Frank Wilfred's grave for a descendant of his but I've just had a look through my records and can't find her name.  At one stage my uncle lived on the border of QLD/NSW and often wondered if there was any connection between him and the Wornhams of Murwillimbah and sure enough eventually we found the connection.  You can contact me privately on marksaj@ozemail.com.au if you'd like to chat further.
