I think you need to sit down and make a note of all the births and marriages that you have found and put them in family and date order.

Buying certificates is the only way to verify that what you have found is correct.  Otherwise you will just get yourself into a muddle over who goes where.
Hi again and yes there is a death last year of an Anthony who I think he was 30 ish and also Anthony senior also named his son Anthony Hun

Hi yes iv wrote them all down to take to her today as even writing them totally confused me 🤷‍♀️😳 all As I knew from her 100%  mother & father’s marriage was
Anthony Hogan married Maria Hughes in 1962 mmn Riley so she clarified the Riley
The O’neill Then threw me 😰

I'm not sure just what would have been kept. I've been a nurse for over 25 years and have written hundreds of thousands of entries in patients notes over the years I should imagine!

We were always told that patients records are destroyed 10 years after their death - otherwise the hospital would run out of space to store them. How true that is I don't know...

Hi my mother was put into Brockhall in 1958 because of  a child out of wedlock she was discharged in July 1970
My mum has asked data protection in Lancashire for a consent form to access her records which they told her  they would send out.
Still waiting 4 weeks on.
With no reply to emails or phone calls. Very strange🤔 as the LANCASHIRE library 📚 held very little information they told her.
So don't know what else to do to help her.
As this as truly been a long & stressful search

that's the one Girl Guide - the other Helena Riley looked too early to me ie 1900 meaning she was 38 when she married - so I am plumping for the 1915 as well ...22 when she married - looks more likely

Also at the same address is a Helena Riley born 1880, possible the grandmother of Maria.
