My jonathan Shaw died (young) in 1857.
There was another JS in the north east.
My JS was a supporter of the 1857 bill on registration of GPs along with Frederick Tinker

Samuel Beecroft, Frederick Tinker and Jonathan Shaw were all involved in the 1857 Bill. The last two were in partnership a decade earlier. I am interested in Jonathan Shaw. I know a lot about his personal life but would like more on his professional life. Can anyone help? They were all surgeons in Hyde in the 1840s 1850s
