sue123, glad I could start you out. My great-great grand father is James. If I get more info, I will share here.

sue123, I am not sure whether you had James Michael as Margaret's father ("England and Wales Non-Conformist Record Indexes (RG4-8), 1588-1977," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FWX8-3ZN : 11 December 2014), Margaret Michael, 04 Jul 1802, Baptism; citing p. 38, Talgarth, Breckonshire, record group RG4, Public Record Office, London.
), but that is the only other data that I got going backwards as of now.

rolnora, Thanks for the link!!! Sounds like it must've been a distant relative checking on these two ;)  I was able to add some data (mostly occupational) to my existing records on their kids.

It sounds like, based on that thread, Richard Pilson and Margaret Jones are James' parents?  I kinda missed the specific reference on that.

I really enjoyed the discussion and it sounds like, without a significant deep dive, I may not be able to confirm, through sources/citations, their parents/grandparents names or genealogical data.

I am looking for information on the parents (and other ancestors) of my GGG-Grandfather James Pilson b. ~1801 d. 26 May 1847 and the parents (and other ancestors) of my GGG-Grandmother Margaret Michael b. ~1802 d. 30 March 1848. they were married on 24 May 1818 in Saint Peter's in Liverpool, Lancashire, England and both of them are buried in St. Mary, Liverpool, Lancashire, England. I believe, based on a baptism record that Margaret's father may have been James Michael (?-?). If anybody happens across their actual birth dates or middle names that would be great. Any information would be appreciated and web references or other citations would help. Thanks!

eileenwilson, do you have web urls that you could include for the debarrment and the marriage?

I was able to conclude that Allan Parsons (b. 1894) was Louise's brother with Edwin Parson (1856-1907) and Mary George (1859-?) as her parents and a Minnie Parsons [married name] (1886-?) married to Louise's brother Leonard Parsons (1886-1919). I haven't run across a Duncan yet.

Sandra and Christine53, thanks to both of you!  This is certainly a start!  It's amazing that I can search on the same/similar sites and couldn't come up with the data.  If you are able to find more about Louise's exact birth/death and/or her parentage, I would appreciate it!

aghadowey, the only 'real' source data that I have access to was two census' from Massachusetts in 1930 and 1940. The death date and place, I got from another person who did not provide source data.

I am looking for ancestral data (as well as more personal data) with sources (if possible) for my daughter in law's great-grandmother.  Her married name was Louise Richards (born 1907 in Newfoundland, Canada and died 26 Apr 1983 in Boston Massachusetts). she was married to Howard Dominic Richards (born 18 Feb 1900 in Hants, Nova Scotia, Canada and died Jul 1968 in Somerville Massachusetts). Additionally, I have Louise naturalized in 1923, a son, Howard Dominic Richards (born 25 Jul 1930 in Massachusetts and died 19 Feb 2009 in San Antonio, Texas) and a daughter, Kathleen (born 1934 in Massachusetts).

Thanks,
Dave
