Thank you for the information, Robertson Stewart Jefferson was a cousin to the Robert Jefferson I am interested in. He died young with the flu epidemic 1918.

On the 1911 census he was 19 years old and was a prisoner at Durham Jail any advice how to find out why he was a prisoner. Thanks.

Details on certificate born 24th November 1891 mother Eugenie Gray formerly Foster. Father Harry Gray. Registered 1st January 1892. Registration district Newcastle upon Tyne sub district of Byker.Occupation of father consulting engineer.

Have traced his grand daughter and she confirms that he died 1964, buying the marriage certificate may well give me more information.
