Have Just discovered this topic on Roots Chat. I am a decendent of George Thomas Cox and Susan Aird.
I live Queensland Australia. My mothers name was Alice Mary Ann McPhee, she was the daughter of Alice Maud Cox, daughter of Susan Aird and George Thomas Cox one of eleven (11) children born in Rockhampton. Susan Aird and George Thomas were married on the 14th December 1873 at Rocky Creek,Westwood via Rockhampton . George Thomas Cox was listed as Ship Steward. Unknow if he was on the ship "Landsborough"
