Thanks but does anyone know if this family is part of the bakery owners in Bristol
My father in law always said we had some connection to them

Thanks for the information.  I cannot find anything about them on findmypast.  Would it be possible to give me their names and dates of births please.

Thanks everyone. I am still interested in the Mountstevens side if anybody knows anything about Blanche or her family.  I have tried to find her in findmypast but struggling to find her before 1901.

I wonder if anyone knows anything about the Mountstevens of Bristol..  I am trying to find some information about my husband's grandfather.  His name was  Albert Victor Strange born 1891/1901 in Bristol.  In the 1901 census he was living with his father George Victor Strange born 1829 and their housekeeper Blanche Mountstevens born 1864. He was living with them both in the 1911 census but registered has Albert Victor Mountstevens. We have been unable to trace a birth certificate and wondered if anyone would be able to help

No Irish people. The two witnesses were her brother and sister. My mum thought his dad Patrick came over but she can't remember now.

Don't think a carpenter.  I have gone into the geneology website and found a couple more. Will have to do some more digging at this end.
Thanks

Thanks for the information and will have a look into this. Is Fordstown a district in County Meath?
