Neale, I think you've nailed it.
I'll go with Arthur Harold Jones.
Excellent work!
Thank you

Census and Resource Discussion / Looking for a Jones Boy

I have a Jones Family from the 1921 census, please see the attachment, It is the son of William Thomas Jones (born Staffordshire 1879) and Clara Jones (nee Talbot born Staffordshire 1881).
They resided in Staffordshire at 7 Castle Street Chesterton.
The transcription lists him a Auther but it could be Luther.
I can't find a birth record, the closest i can find is a W L T Jones with mother a Talbot.
Can i have some opinions on this young lad.
Thank you

Jo6100,
Thank you. I thought that but didn't want to influence any decisions.
Let's see if other people agree with us.
Cheers

I have this entry in the 1881 census for Samuel Cork and his wife Hannah (nee Capper).
I can't decipher the relationship entry for Samuel and Mary as highlighted.
Some assistance would be most appreciated.
Thank you

Thank you for your efforts mckha489.
Unfortunately it has left the relatives perplexed as to where they were at the time.

It seems we may have to admit defeat on this one.

I understand they were known by the names "Ernie" and "Bert".

Thank you everyone for your efforts, at least i know it isn't just some poor choice of search criteria i have been using. They just don't seem to be listed anywhere.
There was a younger Ernest who was born and died in 1911 to the parents.
I am confident in my information for Ernest and Herbert as i have been in contact with (and still trying to figure this out with him) his son who was born in 1947.
The did live on Essex street.
The search goes on.
