Hi my name is Barbara Baillie and I am from New Zealand and William Baillie and Christian Neilson are my grt grt grandparents. The information I have is that Williams father was David Baillie born about 1755 at Craigenhead and he married a Jean Shanks Feb 1777 at New Monklan Airdie.  Christian Neilsons parents were John Neilson and Jean Hay.  My grandfather William was born 28/06/1866 at Garbet Hill Farm and was the youngest of the above familys son, (William dob about 1815 and died 17/7.1878 who married Elizabeth Melville on 5/12/1843 In Cumbernauld.)
