Thanks Little Nell. I have already accessed and had translated some wills from mid 1500's from the KEEP, thanks. As I live in Australia it is impossible to visit there.
The names I am finding in GENIE.com are John 1419-1499, Sir Thomas 1439-1491, Sir Richard 1455-1485 and Nicholas no dates. All looks good but with no details of where the information came from it is impossible to proved that they are correct. Thanks for the tip about familysearch, will follow that up.

I have the Alchornes in my family tree and have recently found sites where they are mentioned prior to 1500 including some Sir's and Lady's. If anyone has come across these could you advise where the information came from please? We all know that Parish Records started in 1538 so this is a mystery. The Weald site doesn't go back that far.
