Thank you Laurina, Tiffaney and AKC for all your help.  I have been searching everywhere trying to tie in John and Janet Tulloch as the parents of my ancestor, Thomas Tulloch and cannot find the connection anywhere. 

 The parents of Thomas Tulloch born abt 1793 in Forres, Morayshire are John Tulloch/Margaret Hutcheson. This I know to be fact as they are listed on Thomas' death certificate.
 
I had a lead that Johns' parents might be John and Janet Tulloch....however, after hours of  searching thru Cursitor.com (great website Laurina..thanks) and other websites, I found many many John Tullochs married to Margaret Tulloch....several Margaret Hutcheson's but no way to tie any of them to my Thomas Tulloch.

 John was a farm labourer. as was Thomas who settled in the Bonor Sutherland
area.  The search goes on......

Hello Joe, I appreciate all the time invested in my family tree especially when nobody in the family seemed to know how old my gg grandfather was! I do have the death certs for both Ann and Thomas, thank you! This past summer I was able to do more research on the Tullochs and found out that GG grandfather was married to three women that we know of and there was indeed a Forres connection but I thought that was Thomas' father, John Tulloch. Interesting and makes sense that Thomas would have been born in Forres. What I did find out was ggg grandfather John Tulloch was born circa 1770 and married a Margaret Hutcheson. They had one child we know of, Thomas Tulloch who was married at one time to Margaret Ross and Magdelane Sutherland. No children mentioned from these marriages. Both Margaret and Magdelane died and Thomas then married Ann McLeod who had one child James McKenzie son of a William McKenzie.  I am now trying to find out where John Tulloch came from.....was he also from Forres I wonder.  Thanks Joe. Is anyone doing research on Tullochs from Sanday?  I believe I may have found my ggg grandparents and wonder where to go now as there are no records of birth on either John Tulloch or Janet Tulloch. I do have a son mentioned from records.....Thomas Tulloch born in Sanday, Cross & Burns Feb 1792. There are many children listed with parents of the same name. Can anyone shed light as to where I could check to verify these are indeed my ancestors. Any help much appreciated!

While researching my family of Tulloch's I have come across several names from The District of Gamrie in the County of Banff........If any of these names fit your family tree I will be glad to share the information....
